Np-9 is a non-ionic surfactant that is soluble in water and most chlorinated and polar solvents. It is chemically stable in the presence of dilute acids, bases and salts. Compatible with soaps, anionic and other non-ionic surfactants, and many organic solvents.
Tetrachloroethylene, also known under the systematic name tetrachloroethene, or perchloroethylene, and many other names (and abbreviations such as “perc” or “PERC”, and “PCE”), is a chlorocarbon with the formula Cl2C=CCl2. It is a colorless liquid widely used for dry cleaning of fabrics, hence it is sometimes called “dry-cleaning fluid”. It also has its uses as an effective automotive brake cleaner.
SLES is an anionic surfactant which is widely used in rinse off products as a primary surfactant. In addition to excellent detergency (also referred to as cleansing), it also has excellent emulsification and foamability. It is major component of rinse-off products. It is compatible with all surfactants except cationic.
